The Red Mountain Trail offers wonderful panoramic views of the Roaring Fork Valley, the town of Glenwood Springs and the Glenwood Canyon. The trailhead is located at the top of W 9th St. Glenwood Springs. The trail is a dirt road for most of the climb and winds its way back into evergreen forests. After about 2 miles the views of Glenwood become panoramic and unique.
