The Grizzly Creek Trail is a beautiful 3.5 mile hike that follows the creek up a narrow valley. The hike is not especially strenuous but if one is not acclimated to Colorado it can prove difficult. The first 3/4 of a mile is a wide path that is great for a quick break on a drive through the canyon. After that it becomes a single track and the footing and hiking will get harder. There are a variety of campsites along the way for those inclined to backpack. At about 3 miles up there are some amazing boulders and waterfalls below the trail. Fishing is common along the creek as well.
