Home of the Wild West River Riders, Glenwood Springs, Colorado is a great hub for outdoor activity. Close to rivers, desert and alpine environments and sitting right off Interstate 70 it is ideally located for mountain adventures. Glenwood offers a variety of trails for hiking and biking as well as two rivers for rafting. The Colorado River follows I-70 through the Glenwood Canyon. The Shoshone rapids are a class III stretch that is very popular. The Roaring Fork river follows CO HWY 82 south to Aspen and Independence Pass. It offers class II rafting and is known for its gold medal fly fishing.
