Middle Thompson Road

4 mile road continues past Sunlight Ski Area up into the White River National Forest.  There are quite a few places to camp and explore that can be accessed easily by virtually any vehicle.  This is a good place for those looking for a respite from the heat of lower elevations.  Remember to bring insect repellent as there is often still standing water well into summer.
