Sunlight Cross Country Ski Trails

There are a variety of trails for cross country skiers right next to Sunlight.  There is more than one access point.  They can be accessed from the parking lot at Sunlight right as you come into it the trail head is on the right next to the stables and snowmobile tours.  For that access just continue uphill from the trail head it will usually be groomed for 1/2 a mile or more.  The other access is from 4mile park by taking the last road on the right before Sunlight mountain.  Continue up the road for approximately 3 miles to a large parking lot on the left.  The access is on the side furthest from the road and is also usually groomed.  There are many options for exploring in the area and a small warming cabin about 1 1/2 miles from the upper trail head or about 2 from the lower trail head adjacent to the Sunlight parking lot.
