Red Table Mountain

Red Table Mountain road branches off from Cottonwood Pass near the top as FR 514.  It ends after about 13 miles at a FAA radar tower.  From the top the views into the Roaring Fork Valley and Aspen are incredible.  Not many people frequent the area and it is ideal for dirt bikes and offroading.  The road used to continue on but now ends at the tower.  It would be possible to do a nice backpacking trip by starting at the tower and following the now closed section of road.
